The car was related from a movie called Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. It was re-produced by Corgi Classic Limited in 2005. (The first production produced in 1968) The length is 12.8 cm. This die-casting car makes Corgi well-known even though its 40 years pass. Many people want to own this car. It caused Corgi to re-produce them.
This second production of the die-cast Chitty Chitty Bang Bang was mainly produced such as colour, material and the weight are just the same origin. Excepting some details were changed, such as lens was not crystal, the middle wing was spreading out by pulling the wing. The fasten belt was screen on the hood while the older version is a real fasting black plastic belt. There is only one driver on the car while the older version has 4 figures. The underneath of this model is made of silver bonzes metal the same as origin. It is a beautiful casting die-cast. It has a sheet of advising manual how to spread the wing, including a postcard to request a catalogue and some data free from the Corgi Collectibles Club. Buy here.
