JAMES BOND ROLLS ROYCE 'GOLDFINGER'

Goldfinger (1964) is the third spy film in the James Bond series, and the third to star Sean Connery as the fictional MI6 agent James Bond. It is based on the novel of the same name by Ian Fleming. The film stars Shirley Eaton as Bond Girl Jill Masterson who is famous for her iconic death, Honor Blackman and Gert Fröbe. The film was produced by Albert R. Broccoli and Harry Saltzman, and was the first of four Bond films directed by Guy Hamilton. The story has Bond following gold smuggler Auric Goldfinger, who plans a nuclear detonation inside the Fort Knox gold depository.

The film was the first official Bond blockbuster and made cinematic history by recouping its production costs in record-setting time, despite a budget equal to that of the two preceding films combined. Goldfinger was also the first Bond film to use a pop star to sing the theme song during the titles, a hallmark that would follow for every Bond film since except On Her Majesty's Secret Service.
A 1937 Phantom III painted yellow-gold is Goldfinger's vehicle in the movie of the same name. The vintage Rolls Royce driven by the deadly Korean Manservant, Oddjob, has a precious cargo - Gold has been melted down and recast into parts of the car's bodywork to allow Goldfinger to smuggle his bullion around the world. Other Phantom III are in films such as; The Yellow Rolls-Royce (This particular Phantom is Goldfinger's), Major Barbara (1941), The Millionairess (1960), Doctor in Clover (1966), etc.

CORGI MOONRAKER SPACE SHUTTLE JAMES BOND 007

Moonraker (1979) is the eleventh spy film in the James Bond series, and the fourth to star Roger Moore as the fictional MI6 agent James Bond. The film, directed by Lewis Gilbert, co-stars Lois Chiles, Michael Lonsdale and Richard Kiel. In the film, Bond is sent to investigate the mysterious theft of a space shuttle, leading him to Hugo Drax, billionaire owner of the shuttle-manufacturing firm. Along with space scientist Holly Goodhead, who later is identified as a CIA agent also investigating Drax, Bond follows the trail of clues from California to Venice, Italy, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and the Amazon rain forest, and finally into outer space in a bid to prevent a genocidal plot to wipe out the world and re-create human existence with a master race.

Moonraker was intended by its creator Ian Fleming to be turned into a film even before he completed the novel in 1954, as he based the novel on a manuscript he had written even earlier than this. The producers of the James Bond film series had originally intended to release Moonraker in 1973 with Roger Moore making his debut as Bond, but the film was put on hold and finally released in 1979 to coincide with the science fiction genre which had become extremely popular during this period with films such as Star Wars (1977).

Derek Meddings, a long-time contributor to the James Bond series, received an Academy Award for Best Visual Effects nomination for the special effects used in the film and its space scenes.

JAMES BOND - ASTON MARTIN V12 VANQUISH

Die Another Day (2002) is the twentieth spy film in the James Bond series, and the fourth and last to star Pierce Brosnan as the fictional MI6 agent James Bond. In the pre-title sequence, Bond leads a mission to North Korea, during which he is found out and, after killing a rogue North Korean colonel, he is captured and imprisoned. More than a year later, Bond is released as part of a prisoner exchange, and he follows a trail of clues in an effort to earn redemption by finding his betrayer and learning the intentions of billionaire Gustav Graves, who turns out to be the same colonel he supposedly killed. Bond pursues the colonel to stop him from using a satellite to reignite the war between North and South Korea.

Die Another Day, produced by Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli, and directed by Lee Tamahori, is the 20th film in the series and marks the franchise's 40th anniversary (begun in 1962 with Sean Connery starring in Dr. No). It includes references to each of the preceding films and also alludes to several Bond novels.

The film received mixed reviews—some critics praised Lee Tamahori's work on the film, while others pointed out the damage caused to the plot by the excessive use of CGI. In spite of its flaws, it became the highest grossing James Bond film to that date. It was distributed by MGM themselves in North America, and internationally through 20th Century Fox.

The Aston Martin Vanquish is a grand tourer, designed by Ian Callum and manufactured by Aston Martin. From its 2001 introduction to its cancellation, it was Aston Martin's flagship vehicle. Its rise to recognition by the wider public came after being featured as the official James Bond car in Die Another Day, the twentieth James Bond film. It was also featured in the original manuscript of Stephenie Meyer's Twilight as Edward Cullen's "special occasion". Edited out of the final copy, it made a special appearance in the the fourth book of the series, Breaking Dawn. It was discontinued in 2007. The Aston Martin DBS V12 will temporarily replace it atop Aston's lineup pending the 2010 introduction of a replacement.

The car is equipped with all the usual refinements, including front-firing rockets, hood-mounted target-seeking guns, spike-producing tires, again and a passenger ejector seat in homage to the original Aston Martin DB5, but used here in a clever bit of improvisation by 007 to right the car when it's been flipped onto its roof. The Aston was also equipped with "adaptive camouflage" – a cloaking device that allowed it to become effectively invisible at the push of a button. This vehicle was also featured in the video games Nightfire (2002) and Everything or Nothing (2004). Buy it now.

"The Knight Bus Collectors Edition Set, comes beautifully boxed in a faux steamer-trunk type case. The three versions of the Knight Bus inside are nicely displayed, and give you a pretty good idea of what is involved in the final steps of the development behind a toy model. I'm quite sure that no one ever intended this to be a kid's toy. If these are ever going to be taken out of their display case it is just to examine them once and put 'em back, or possibly park them on someone's desk between the stapler, paper weight and the other executive toys. It might seem a bit over priced, but it is still a must have for any Harry Potter completest, or the beginning collector, as a companion to that nice boxed set of the novels." (Reviewed by DC Smith). THE BEATLES - REVOLVER - DIE-CAST VEHICLES

Revolver is the seventh album by English rock band The Beatles, released on 5 August 1966. The album showcased a number of new stylistic developments which would become more pronounced on later albums. Many of the tracks on Revolver are marked by an electric guitar-rock sound, in contrast with their previous, folk-rock inspired Rubber Soul. It reached #1 on the UK chart for seven weeks and #1 on the U.S. chart for six weeks.

Revolver was released before the Beatles' last tour in August 1966, but they did not perform songs from the album live. Their reasoning for this was that many of the tracks on the album, for example "Tomorrow Never Knows", were too complex to perform with live instruments.

DIECAST FORD MUSTANG MARCH I BOND VEHICLE

Diamonds Are Forever (1971) is the seventh spy film of the British James Bond series and the sixth to star Sean Connery as the fictional MI6 agent James Bond. The film is based on Ian Fleming's 1956 novel of the same name, and is the second of four James Bond films directed by Guy Hamilton. The story has Bond impersonating a diamond smuggler to infiltrate a smuggling ring, and soon uncovering a plot by his former nemesis Blofeld to use the diamonds and build a giant laser satellite that would be used to hold the world to ransom.

Diamonds Are Forever was a commercial success, but its humorous tone was met with mixed reviews by critics.

The Ford Mustang Mach 1 was a performance model of the Ford Mustang that Ford produced beginning in 1969. The original production run of the Mach 1 ended in 1979 because the Mustang II coupe was being phased out in favor of newer Mustangs on the Fox body platform.

The Mach 1 returned in 2003 as a high performance version of the Mustang. The Mach 1 was discontinued again after the 2004 model year as the SN-95 platform was replaced by the newer S197 platform for the 2005 model year.

The name "mach 1" as used by Ford was originally introduced in 1959 on a concept "Levacar" originally shown in the Ford Rotunda. This concept "vehicle" utilized a cushion of air as propulsion on a circular dais. This concept vehicle was orange and white.

In this film, the Mach 1 was the first vehicle ever filmed to feature the now-famous 'two-wheeled tilt' stunt (driven by stunt driver 'Bumps' Willard) as Bond escapes from pursuing Las Vegas police. One of the stunt cars used in the Bond film was later featured as Jan Michael Vincent's car in the Charles Bronson film 'The Mechanic'.Unfortunately for the Mach 1 (as well as Vincent's character), in its only appearance in the movie, the car was demolished by a bomb planted inside as retaliation by Bronson's character. BMW 750i - THE DEFINITIVE BOND COLLECTION

Tomorrow Never Dies, released in 1997, is the eighteenth spy film in the James Bond series, and the second to star Pierce Brosnan as MI6 agent James Bond. Bruce Feirstein was credited as writing the screenplay, although it received input from several writers, and it was directed by Roger Spottiswoode. It follows Bond as he tries to stop a media mogul from engineering world events and starting World War III.

The film was produced by Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli, and was the first James Bond film made after the death of producer Albert R. Broccoli. Tomorrow Never Dies performed well in the box office despite mixed reviews. While its domestic box office surpassed Golden Eye, it was the only Pierce Brosnan Bond film not to open at number one at the box office since it opened the same day as Titanic.

BMW 7 Series car from Tomorrow Never Dies

This BMW 750i found fame in the Tomorrow Never Dies film during that amazing underground car park scene. This is a rather nice model of the stylish BM, with some good detail touches in its own right, including well replicated lights and interior. But best of all is the two stage sunroof missile launcher. Press it once and the roof flips open, press it again and the missiles shoot a fair way. See more

CORGI 1/36 LOTUS TURBO JAMES BOND

For Your Eyes Only (1981) is the 12th spy film in the James Bond series, and the fifth to star Roger Moore as MI6 agent James Bond. Bond is after a missile command system known as the ATAC, whilst Melina is out to avenge the death of her parents.

The film was released on both June 24th (in the United Kingdom) and June 26th (in the United States) of 1981 two weeks after the release of Raiders of the Lost Ark and was both a critical and monetary success, generating $195.3 million worldwide.

The classic British sports car with its 2.2 litre turbo-charged engine proved more than a match for Bond's enemies. This 1/36 scale replica features precisely matched metaillic orange paintwork, spoked wheels, full body and interior decoration - and 007's skis strapped to the roof. See more.

DAKTARI LAND ROVER & FIGURES

“Daktari” (a language of Swahilee, means Doctor of medicine) It was a story of a veterinarian who learnt a behavior of the animal in order to help every kind of animal in West Africa. Daktari was a television series that aired on CSB from 1966-1969. The show had distinctive accompanying music that was a fusion of jazz and African influences. Jazz drummer Shelly Manne contributed music; he released an affiliated record, Daktari: Shelly Manne Performs and Conducts His Original Music for the Hit TV Show, on the Atlantic Records label in 1968. According to the liner notes on the album, Manne and his fellow percussionists play ankle and wrist jingles, Thailand mouth organs, aungloongs, ocarinas, vibraphones, tympani, and different kinds of marimba

The die-cast Land Rover from the cinema TV, a set of Daktari was produced in China by Corgi Classic Ltd. The Length is 9.8 cm. The original Corgi company never made another safari toy, but in 1998, new Corgi issued a commemorative Daktari set. No.07104 included the old 1/43rd scale Land Rover, but the wheels are different, and the rear window in the cab is larger. The black stripes are bolder, as are the Wameru transfers, which are now on the pick-up sides. Included with the vehicle are very good models of Judy the chimp and Clarence with his glasses. The box is particularly pleasing, with Daktari logo, Clarence artwork, publicity stills and photos of a Land Rover on Safari.
