HOT WHEELS THE DARK KNIGHT BATMOBILE TUMBLE

The Dark Knight is a 2008 American superhero film co-written and directed by Christopher Nolan. Based on the DC Comics character Batman, the film is a sequel to Batman Begins (2005). Christian Bale reprises the lead role. Batman's primary conflicts in the film include his fight against his arch-nemesis the Joker (Heath Ledger) and his strained friendship with district attorney Harvey Dent (Aaron Eckhart).

For his conception of the film, Nolan was inspired by the Joker's first two appearances in the comics and Batman: The Long Halloween. The Dark Knight was filmed primarily in Chicago, as well as in several other locations in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Hong Kong. The director used an IMAX camera to film six major action sequences, including the Joker's first appearance in the film. The Batsuit was redesigned, with a cowl allowing Bale to move his head.

Warner Bros. created an aggressive viral marketing campaign for The Dark Knight, developing promotional websites and trailers highlighting screenshots of Heath Ledger as the Joker. After Ledger's death in January 2008, however, the studio refocused its promotional campaign. The film was released on July 16, 2008 in Australia, on July 18, 2008 in North America, and will be released on July 21, 2008 in the United Kingdom.

The Batmobile, depicted in the 2005 film Batman Begins and the 2008 sequel The Dark Knight, commonly referred to as the Tumbler, owes more to the tank-like vehicle from Frank Miller's Batman: The Dark Knight Returns than to the sleek automobiles seen in previous movies. The film's production designer described the machine as being a cross between a Lamborghini and a Hummer. In the various interior sequences of the Batmobile/Tumbler being driven, it appears to drive like a boat, based on throttle placement, use, and construction.
This cool 1:18 scale Hot Wheels Batmobile Tumbler is inspired by the upcoming movie, The Dark Knight. This model has authentic features as well as detailed interiors and engines. Display case. For adult collectors. Buy it now and See more.

ASTON MARTIN DBS - CASINO ROYALE

Casino Royale (2006) is the twenty-first film in the James Bond series; it is directed by Martin Campbell and the first to star Daniel Craig as MI6 agent James Bond. Based on the 1953 novel of the same name by Ian Fleming, it was adapted by screenwriters Neal Purvis, Robert Wade, and Paul Haggis.

It is the third screen adaptation of the Casino Royale novel, which was previously produced as a 1954 television episode and a 1967 satirical film. The film is set at the beginning of James Bond's career as Agent 007, just as he's earning his license to kill. After preventing a terrorist attack at Miami Airport, Bond falls for Vesper Lynd, the treasury agent assigned to provide the money he needs to foil a high-stakes poker tournament organized by Le Chiffre.

On January 17, 2006 it was announced that a new Aston Martin DBS would be used in the 21st James Bond film Casino Royale. The new DBS is based on the DB9, more specifically the DBR9 race car. Built on the VH Platform the car shares its roof, side screens and wheelbase with the DB9, but sits lower (by 25 mm) and wider (by 40 mm) than the DB9. Visually, the front end is dominated by air scoops and cooling ducts which help cool the six-litre V12 engine which has reportedly been up rated to produce 510bhp (380Kw), 420lb-ft (570Nm) of torque & a top speed of 191mph (302km/h). At the rear are a carbon diffuser and an integrated rear lip spoiler. Other details include a six-speed manual transmission and a removable stopwatch. A special helmet pod behind the driver's seat is present for Casino Royale but will not feature in the production version. Aston Martin is expected to build only 300 examples of the new DBS.

This is Corgi James Bond Casino Royale Aston Martin DBS. Ok so this is about the best james bond car to get!!! this 3.5 inch car is so detailed.... you will difinetly get your money's worth.

BMW Z3 JAMES BOND COLLECTION

GoldenEye (1995) is the seventeenth spy film of the British James Bond series directed by Martin Campbell and the first to star Pierce Brosnan as the fictional MI6 agent James Bond. Unlike previous Bond films, it is unrelated to the works of novelist Ian Fleming, although the name "GoldenEye" was taken from his estate in Jamaica. The story was conceived and written by Michael France, with later collaboration by other writers. In the film, Bond fights to prevent an arms syndicate from using the GoldenEye satellite weapon against London in order to cause a global financial meltdown.

GoldenEye was released in 1995 after legal disputes forced a six-year hiatus in the series, during which Timothy Dalton resigned from the role of James Bond and was replaced by Pierce Brosnan. M was also recast with actress Judi Dench, becoming the first female to portray the character. GoldenEye was the first Bond film made after the downfall of the Soviet Union and the end of the Cold War, which provided a background for the plot.

The film was praised by most critics and performed well at the box office, considerably better than Dalton's films, without taking inflation into account. Some critics viewed the film as a modernisation of the series, and felt Brosnan was a definite improvement over his predecessor. It also received two BAFTA nominations – "Best Achievement in Special Effects" and "Best Sound".

James Bond, as played by Pierce Brosnan in the film Goldeneye, drove a BMW Z3. The car is described by Q as having stinger missiles mounted behind the headlights, all points radar system with display, a self destruct system and is shown to have a parachute Braking system. However, none of these gadgets are actually utilized in the film.

James Bond BMW Z3 & Figure. Pierce Brosnan's partner on his first outing as the suave spy is reproduced here to 1:36 scale in an authentically detailed die-cast replica. Working features include re-loadable Stinger missiles hidden behind the headlights, the metallic blue paintwork is precisely matched, and the model comes with figures of Bond and Natalya Simonova. LOTUS ESPRIT ROADCAR

The Spy Who Loved Me, released in 1977, is the 10th film in the James Bond series and the third to star Roger Moore as MI6 agent James Bond. It was directed by Lewis Gilbert and the screenplay was written by Christopher Wood and Richard Maibaum. The film takes its title from the tenth novel in Ian Fleming's James Bond series. Following a request by Ian Fleming when he sold the rights to the series that only the title of the novel be used, it is the first Bond film to be written with a wholly original plot line in its screenplay. The storyline involves a reclusive megalomaniac named Stromberg who plans to destroy the world and create a new civilization under the sea. Bond teams up with a Russian agent Anya Amasova to stop Stromberg.

Throughout the James Bond series of films Q Branch has given Bond a wide variety of vehicles with which to battle his enemies. Among the most noteworthy gadgets Bond has been equipped with have been various vehicles that have numerous modifications to include weapons systems, anti-pursuit systems, alternate transportation modes, and various other functions.
This is actual white Esprit S1 used in the famous chase sequence in The Spy Who Loved Me. It evades the lovely Caroline Munro in her helicopter by driving off a pier and then converting into a submarine, complete with mines and rockets to get rid of any unwanted attention. This is a very early car and was purchased directly from Lotus Cars in 1998

The Lotus Esprit and its underwater exploits are second only to the DB5 in the Bond car hall of fame. To escape a rocket-equipped helicopter Bond (now played for laughs by the bouffant-ed Roger Moore) drives the Esprit off a pier into the sea, where it transforms into a submarine at the flick of a switch and blows up the helicopter with its own rockets. More underwater action ensues, until Bond emerges victorious on a beach full of holidaymakers. Six cars were used to film this sequence, one of which was a working submarine with two divers

The James Bond Lotus Esprit by Corgi is an outstanding car. As seen in THE SPY WHO LOVED ME, this car stands as on of the most innovative vehicles since the Aston Martin DB5. This is one of the classic James Bond cars of the cinema. From sports car to underwater submersible at the flick of a switch: does the ingenuity of 'Q' know no bounds? This authentic 1/36 scale die-cast replica features working side and rear fins, as well as a re-loadable surface-to-air missile launcher - just in case of any helicopters behaving suspiciously near you! HOT WHEELS 1/18 BATMOBILE (1989 MOVIE)

I think this model looks great. I like the weight and feel of it. The price seems a bit high, however it has satisfied my needs for a batmobile model. The only real dissapointment is that the guns rotate up and are positioned very poorly, they could have easily been angled to fire above the front fenders rather than into it. I had hoped that my figure from the first movie would look good next to it but the car is too small. It is packaged in a simple box with no information. The car is attached to a large plastic platform with three easy to remove screws, the wheels and car float slightly above the platform which is plain with no logo.

The main body is a very heavy diecast. Everything else is plastic. The hubcaps, the engine parts front and back, the vented rear engine cover, side air intakes, the canopy, the underside and the railguns. The wheels are a very hard rubber."The front head lights are orange with two large locator pins in each lens that are painfully evident. The 4 tailights also suffer from black hole locator pins that are 1/2 the diameter of the lenses themselves. Two other major external features were virtually passed over. The huge roof intake is blocked out and the rear quarter porthole windows are only round detents in the metal."

Operational features"The canopy slides forward on an overscaled slot in the hood to reveal an interior that totally underwhelms." It is all plastic with shift levers and a working round steering wheel. The control panels are two dimensional stickers. The front jet engine intake slides out about an inch."The only other feature is the two fender panels that rotate to reveal a preposterous pair of Browning M2 .50 calibre aircraft machine guns that are molded with solid barrels, aligned so that if fired, they'd rip through the front fenders. Bolt operated, it's hard to figure out how these things could be remotely operated. They're belt fed and I don't think anyone thought about where exactly the magazines would be when the guns are fixed to the underside of the exterior panel."(Review by Customer) See more and Shop here.

AN NICE PIECE FOR THE BAT-FAN Of THE '60s,

The Batcycle is the fictional personal motorcycle of comic book superhero Batman. In the comic book universe, Batman's personal Batcycle is a modified street-bike with a 786 cc liquid-cooled V-4 engine. It contains a computer-controlled carburetor and bulletproof wind-guard.

The Batcycle made its first appearance in 1966 in the Batman TV series. It was a 1959 Harley Davidson with a side car, but it was taken on lease and was only used for the first season episode "Not Yet, He Ain't".

The Batcycle was one of the many vehicles used by Batman and Robin in Batman: The Animated Series. The Batcycle was themed to look like Batman's other vehicles, the Batmobile, Batwing, and Batboat. Batman would use it in certain episodes, as would Robin. Perhaps the most important part the Batcycle played in the series was in the movie Batman: Mask of the Phantasm, where Batman jumped off the Batcycle so it would crash into a giant fan that was being controlled by the Joker. The Batcycle saw a little more use from Robin, particularly in the episode "Robin's Reckoning." Robin would continue to use a variation of the Batcycle in later seasons after he had become Nightwing.

Although this Hot Wheels diecast is nowhere near as accurate as it's companion piece, the 1:50 scale 1966 TV Batmobile, it's still a nice little replica. Informed sources claim that it's based on the old 60's Aurora model kit, scaled down, and a visual comparison of the two does show several matching details. To be truthful, the toy should more accurately be described as 1:30 scale, as it is larger in comparison to the Batmobile than an actual 1:50 scale toy would be, but if it was in scale to the car, it would be tiny. While some shapes and proportions are a bit off, it's still a nice looking piece that represents the bike seen in the 1966 movie, and most of the television series, pretty well ( this design was actually the second used - in an early episode there was a far more generic looking cycle, used only once ). Robin's sidecar go-kart is included and is held in the package by a piece of monofilament, but have no fear; once the filament is removed, the kart can be secured in place in the sidecar on a small post. Despite it's size, this is more of a display item for the adult collector, rather than a toy for a modern child. While the bike and go-kart do roll, the steering is fixed, and a child would probably be less than enthused about playing with it (especially since there are no accompanying figures of Batman and Robin. Still for the adult Batman fan, it's a nice little replica that will look very attractive sitting on a shelf or desk. (Review by Davidp.) See more.

The die-cast Edition Atlas – 1921 Citroen 5HP from cartoon Spirou and Fantasio, it produced under a license of Dupuis/Franquin and CIE S.A. by Edition Atlas, France in China 2006.

The die-cast from Spirou and Fantasio cartoon is related cartoon from a real drawing picture of Citroen 5HP was removed cover in 1921, thick heavy metal body, yellow colour, grayish tire. It has a replica of Spirou and Fantasio and their raising animal which was named Spip. Its manner looked beautifully alike a shiny cartoon. The body of the car will be designed to be molded as a cartoon. It is very nice model.

HOT WHEELS : 1966 TV SERIES BATMOBILE 1:64

This is Mattel Hot Wheels 2007 New Models 1:64 Scale Black 1966 Television Series Batmobile Die Cast Car #015 ...This Car Is very Very Rare and Hard to Find. Buy now. and See more.

I've been a big fan of the T.V. Batmobile since I was a kid. I've collected several versions over the decades including the Corgi, and the Husky diecasts, but I was never quite satisfied because, no matter how nice they were, they just weren't quite right. This new Hot Wheels version, while not spot-on accurate, comes closer than the previous versions. I particularly like the red pinstriping down the sides, although it would've been nice if it continued around the front and rear of the car. But hey, this is a toy. If you're really hoping for the ultimate in accuracy, you'll have to wait until early 2008, when Hot Wheels will be be releasing their 1:18 scale diecast, which will be scanned from the original car used in the '66 television show. Until then, this little gem will do nicely. (Review by Davidp.)

Batman's secret identity is Bruce Wayne, a wealthy industrialist, playboy, and philanthropist. Batman operates in the fictional Gotham City, assisted by various supporting characters including his sidekick Robin and his butler Alfred Pennyworth, and fights an assortment of villains influenced by the characters' roots in film and pulp magazines.

Batman is a 1960s American television series, based on the DC comic book character of the same name. It aired on the American Broadcasting Company (ABC) network for 2½ seasons from January 12, 1966 to March 14, 1968. In 1965, ABC-TV chose George Barris to design a "Batmobile" for their soon-to-go-into production BATMAN show. The most famous Batmobile, the one from the 1966-1968 live action television show, began life as a Ford concept car called the Lincoln Futura, built over a decade earlier in 1955.

This Batmobile gadget include a nose-mounted chain slicer, lasers, rockets, an on-board telephone, radar, dash monitor, on-board computer, and police beacon. If needed, the Batmobile is capable of a quick 180° "bat-turn" thanks to two rear-mounted 10' parachutes, and it is equipped with a smoke emitter and a nail spreader to discourage pursuit. Some changes were made during the run of the series, including different license plates, a change in steering wheel, and the addition of extra gadgets such as the rear-facing camera and battering ram.

ASTON MARTIN DB5 - GOLDFINGER

The James Bond Goldfinger film, starring Sean Connery and Honor Blackman, was released in 1964 and became an instant success. It is based on the novel of the same name by Ian Fleming. The film also stars Honor Blackman and Gert Fröbe. The film was produced by Albert R. Broccoli and Harry Saltzman, and was the first of four Bond films directed by Guy Hamilton. The story has Bond following gold smuggler Auric Goldfinger, who plans a nuclear detonation inside the Fort Knox gold depository.

The Aston Martin DB5 is the most famous Aston Martin car due to its use by James Bond in Goldfinger (1964). Although Ian Fleming had placed Bond in a DB Mark III in the novel, the DB5 was the company's newest model when the film was being made. The car used in the film was the original DB5 prototype, with another standard car used for stunts. Two more modified cars were built for publicity tours after the film's release. In January 2006, one of those cars was auctioned in Arizona for US$2,090,000. The same car was originally bought in 1970 for £5,000 from the owner, Sir Anthony Bamford, by a Tennessee museum owner. The other car is located in the Netherlands in the Louwman Collection Museum.
